There also was a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in Ocean County.

The top-prize $190 million ticket was sold at Buy-Rite Liquor, 1353 Stelton Road in Piscataway. That retailer will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket,  New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said in a news release.

“Congratulations to the winner of this multi-million-dollar jackpot! We encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket, make a copy of both sides and put it in a safe place. We recommend contacting a financial advisor and an attorney before reaching out to Lottery officials at 1-800-222-0996 to arrange to file a claim for this jackpot prize,” Carey said.

In addition, there was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. That ticket was purchased at Barnegat Quick Stop, 21 South Main St., Barnegat in Ocean County.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday drawing were: 02, 37, 39, 48 and 54. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Multiplier number was 03.

The Powerball jackpot reset to $20 million for the next drawing to be held Saturday night.

In addition to the jackpot and third-tier prizes, there were 18,346 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $105,261 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, Lottery officials said.

It's the second time this year that Central Jersey has won a major jackpot.

On Feb. 11, a winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at the Quick Stop Food Store in Edison for the $202 million jackpot.
